1. The service

ToolHex provides free utility tools (image compression, text tools, calculators, PDF utilities and similar) at toolhex.online and its subdomains. All processing happens locally in your web browser. The tools are provided free of charge, without registration.

2. Your files and your responsibility

Our tools process files entirely on your own device. We never receive, store, or have access to your files, and we cannot recover them for you. You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files. While the tools are built and tested carefully, you should always verify the output before deleting originals — compression and conversion are, by nature, operations that can alter data.

3. Acceptable use

You may use ToolHex for any lawful purpose. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or use it to process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for the content you process with the tools.

4. Intellectual property

The ToolHex name, logo, site design and written content are our property. Your files remain entirely yours; processing them with our tools gives us no rights over them. You may use the output of the tools freely, for personal or commercial purposes.

5. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolHex and its operator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, files, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Advertising and third parties

8. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify or discontinue any tool at any time, and may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
